Communications have been carried out between Tianjinand foreign countries in economy, trade, culture, science andtechnology, education, sports, public health, etc. Tianjin hassigned agreements with 57 cities (provinces, states, regions)from 38 nations on friendship city relationships, exchanges andcooperation. Tianjin has become a friendship city to 23 foreigncities. Apart from this, friendship and cooperative relations havealso been established between 34 pairs of institutions and nearly200 pairs of grassroots units. Tianjin Port has trade relations withover 160 countries and regions in the world.
